This 1970 Ampeg B-25 head and 2x15 cabinet delivers loud, full-bodied cleans and that unmistakable Ampeg growl when pushed. It has the kind of room-filling sound that makes its wattage rating seem surprisingly modest.

The head was recently fully serviced, including a recap, and is operating at peak performance with no known issues. A high-quality Hammond replacement output transformer has been installed, and this particular amplifier currently runs 6L6 power tubes.

The head’s rear panel cover is missing.
