The Squier 40th Anniversary in Desert Sand is a cut above the usual offerings of the Squire line. This one comes with a fantastic setup, vintage tone and also happens to be one of the best looking Jazzmasters we've seen! The Desert Sand finish in combination with the Anodized Gold pickguard is absolutely striking. Key Features Include: Poplar Body, Maple Neck and Fretboard, Satin Urethane finish, and Alnico Single Coil pickups.
This particular instrument is great shape showing little to no wear, a great setup with low action and no buzz. The neck is great shape with a perfectly functioning truss rod and no warps or twists. The frets are in nearly perfect shape and a full life left in them. The neck and fretboard are free of any dings or dents, just light wear that is virtually un-noticeable, and nearly impossible to photograph. There are few small marks on the body (see photos) but overall the guitar is clean and free of any notable damage. The electronics are working 100% without flaw, as well as all hardware and moving parts.
