Ampeg B-25 All-Tube Head & B-25 2x15 Cabinet – 1970 – Fully Serviced – Used
Big vintage Ampeg tone with serious punch! This 1970 Ampeg B-25 head and 2x15 cabinet delivers loud, full-bodied cleans and that unmistakable Ampeg growl when pushed. It has the kind of room-filling sound that makes its wattage rating seem surprisingly modest.
The head was recently fully serviced, including a recap, and is operating at peak performance with no known issues. A high-quality Hammond replacement output transformer has been installed, and this particular amplifier currently runs 6L6 power tubes.
The head’s rear panel cover is missing. Both the head and cabinet show age-appropriate cosmetic wear, including scuffs and areas of worn covering. Please review the photographs for a closer look at their condition.
The B-25 cabinet houses two 15-inch speakers and is solid as a rock. Both speakers function properly, delivering loud, clean sound with no known issues. This is a substantial vintage rig with the size, weight, and sound to match!
