Up for sale is an all-original year 2000 DeArmond M-72 Bluesbird in a stunning Natural finish over a highly figured flame maple top. Crafted in Korea during Guild/DeArmond’s celebrated late-’90s to early-2000s era, the M-72 offers a light, resonant chambered body paired with a set of original, high-output USA DeArmond GoldTone humbuckers. These pickups deliver exceptional clarity, warm low-end, and incredible single-note articulation that punch well above their weight class.

Condition is Excellent / Near Mint. This instrument is exceptionally clean (99% clean) with minimal to no visible wear and absolutely no dings or dents anywhere. Remarkably, it still retains the factory protective plastic film on both the back cavity plate and the toggle switch cover plate. Everything on the guitar remains 100% original and stock.

At a comfortable 7.6 lbs, it balances exceptionally well on a strap, offering all the resonance of a chambered single-cut without the shoulder fatigue. Our in-house technicians have thoroughly inspected the instrument, verified all electronics, cleaned and conditioned the fingerboard, and completed a fresh setup with low, comfortable action. It includes a Musician's Friend branded padded gig bag for safe transport and storage.
