Here's a wonderful example of an American-Made Fender Precision Bass from 1999. The American Deluxe Precision Bass is one of the more sought after designs from the this era of Fender due to its unique mix of vintage/modern specifications, classic look and extreme playability. This one is in VERY GOOD condition, looks great, and plays exactly as you'd hope a P-Bass of this caliber would! This one weighs in at 8.5 LBS and includes the original Fender ABS-molded hardshell case.
The setup and playability of this instrument are second-to-none. The guitar is currently setup with flatwounds (we can change this roundwounds at your request) with a low, consistent action that feels comfortable and easy to play. The frets are easily in 9/10 condition and show only some slight flattening, in some areas with no pitting. The frets are level and there are no buzzy or deadspots anywhere on the fretboard and the frets still have a full life left in them. The neck is great shape with a perfectly functioning truss rod setup straight with a just a bit of relief to avoid buzzing.
The electronics and hardware are all functioning 100% with no issues and are also all-original. The finish shows some signs of wear (see photos), all of which is superficial and very minor. The bass appears to be in nearly perfect shape unless inspected closely. The original hardshell case is in great shape and included with the sale.
