1996 Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster – Surf Green (USA) – OHSC
Here’s a standout example of a mid-’90s USA-built Jeff Beck Artist Series Strat finished in the iconic Surf Green (often casually referred to as Seafoam Green). These early Artist Series models are highly regarded for their build quality and unique spec package tailored to Jeff Beck’s demanding playing style.
This particular guitar is in Excellent condition, showing almost no signs of use. It presents extremely clean with only the faintest signs of handling, if any. The setup is dialed in perfectly with low, fast action, making it an absolute joy to play.
Originally equipped with Lace Sensor pickups, this example has been professionally fitted with a set of USA-made Fender single coils. Based on construction and voicing, they are believed to be either Fender American Vintage Reissue pickups or Texas Specials or Fender Fat 50’s—both known for delivering a more traditional Strat response with enhanced clarity, punch, and dynamic range. These pickups were commonly unmarked when installed in factory or service settings, making exact identification difficult—but tonally, they land right where players want them.
All core components remain original, including the neck, body, bridge, nut, and tuning machines, preserving the integrity and feel of this instrument.
Includes the original Fender tweed hardshell case.
