Here is an interesting "Partscaster" that includes premium OEM parts from Fender and Hamer. The body is late 90's Hamer Daytona, loaded with stock pickguard pickups and controls, as well as a Fender Vintage Reissue synchronized tremolo.
This Fender Strat with Hamer Body is in Excellent condition. This guitar is a combination of a 1990 Fender USA Stratocaster neck with rosewood fingerboard, which still includes its original headstock inlay, tuning machines, and string trees. The neck shows some light fret wear on frets 1-3, but no pitting or divots. The action is low and fast, with a straight neck with the right touch of relief. A small chip of rosewood is missing from the fingerboard past the nut on the bass side, but it does not affect playability or nut stability. The truss rod functions perfectly with no issues.
The body of this guitar is a Hamer Daytona from the mid 1990's. The bridge, pickguard, and electronics are all Fender USA built. The Fender tremolo block is a little tight against the backplate due to the difference in routes from Hamer to Fender. The tremolo still works perfectly with the backplate on, we've left it off and much happier "spring noise".
Overall, this is great-playing instrument, with spot-on intonation, low action, no buzz and an excellent setup. The overall condition is EXCELLENT, with denotes a guitar that nearly 100% free from visual defect. This one looks perfect unless inspected very closely.
