Condition is Very Good overall. The guitar is 100% all-original and functionally pristine, with all electronics operating perfectly. Cosmically, it remains remarkably clean with no major dings or dents—showing only very light clear coat surface scratches from careful use. Notably, the plastic protective film is still intact on the rear control cavity cover!
There is some light finish pull-away/shrinkage along the sides of the fretboard where the finish was applied over the fret ends—a very common cosmetic occurrence on Gibsons of this era due to natural wood contraction. This is purely cosmetic, cannot be felt while playing, and does not impact playability or structural integrity in any way.
At an exceptionally comfortable 7.3 lbs, it balances remarkably well and reduces playing fatigue. Our technicians have thoroughly inspected the instrument, verified proper electronics operation, and completed a professional setup for low, comfortable action.
