Inject classic 1960s semi-hollow aesthetic and airy, vintage-voiced versatility into your setup with this used Guild Starfire I SC in a rich Antique Burst finish. Based on Guild's iconic single-cutaway body shape, the Starfire I SC features a 2"-thick arched maple top, back, and sides paired with an internal bridge block to enhance sustain and control feedback at higher stage volumes. Driven by a pair of Guild HB-2 Alnico II humbuckers with push-pull coil-splitting on each volume control, this guitar seamlessly shifts between warm, woody humbucking crunch and bright, articulate single-coil chime.
This instrument is in Very Good Condition. The body finish remains exceptionally clean, exhibiting minimal to no visible signs of wear on the front and showcasing a striking maple wood grain pattern across the back (please inspect photos for exact details). It shows standard cosmetic play wear on the pickguard, and the small metallic indicator decal inserts are missing from two of the control knobs. The modern thin "U" mahogany neck is comfortable, the frets have plenty of life, and all controls and coil-tap switches function 100% properly. Fully benchmarked, cleaned, and professionally setup in-house!
