1993 Hamer Diablo ā Natural Stripped Finish / EMG 81/85 / Floyd Rose
Offered here is a very cool and player-focused 1993 Hamer Diablo, built from an ash body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Hamer produced a number of Diablo variations over the years, and this particular example stands out with its stripped original clear coat on the top and back, while the gloss finish remains along the body edges and side contours. The work was done very well and gives the guitar a unique broken-in look without sacrificing its overall presentation.
This Diablo has been upgraded from its original pickup set to a powerful EMG 81/85 combination, making it an excellent choice for high-gain rock and metal players while still retaining great clarity and punch. The Floyd Rose tremolo system works exactly as it should, the electronics function perfectly, and the guitar has an outstanding overall setup.
The neck is in excellent structural condition with no warps, humps, twists, or other issues. Fret wear is minimal to virtually nonexistent, making this a very comfortable and dependable instrument for serious players. It includes a non-original Gator Transit gig bag.
Condition: Very Good
This guitar shows modification from original specification, most notably the stripped finish on the top and back and the EMG pickup installation. Structurally and functionally, however, it is in excellent playing condition with a superb setup and very clean frets.
