Maxon DS-830 Distortion Master – Made in Japan – Excellent Condition
This Japanese-made Maxon DS-830 Distortion Master is exceptionally clean, conservatively rated at 98%. It shows only a small handful of minor marks and has otherwise seen very light studio use in a smoke-free studio and guitar shop.
No Velcro has ever been applied, and even the original foam padding remains clean. There are no unusual odors, stains, or other signs of heavy use. 😆 All controls, jacks, switching, and electronics function exactly as intended.
The DS-830 is a remarkably versatile analog distortion pedal capable of everything from a lightly driven boost to thick, full-frequency high-gain distortion. Its independent Bass and Treble controls offer considerably more tone-shaping flexibility than a traditional single-tone-knob distortion, while the circuit retains impressive clarity, punch, and playing dynamics at higher gain settings.
