Looking to complete a period-correct restoration for a prized 1950s Golden Era Gibson or Epiphone? This original 1950s Lifton hardshell case is designed specifically to fit 17-inch full-sized archtops and jumbo acoustics—such as a Gibson L-5, L-7C, SJ-200, or vintage Epiphone Zephyr and Emperor models. Built with Lifton’s legendary period construction, this case offers genuine vintage character and exact historical accuracy for high-value instruments from the era.

Condition is Good for its age (Well-Loved Vintage Condition). This case exhibits heavy, authentic mojo and wear from decades of real-world use. The exterior covering shows significant peeling, scuffing, and edge wear throughout the shell. On the inside, the plush lining displays discoloration, scratches, and age-related blemishes (please see photos for complete cosmetic condition details). Despite the cosmetic wear, the wooden shell structure remains intact and functional, making it a wonderful piece of functional vintage history.
