The Warwick Custom Shop Masterbuilt Corvette DB “The Fossil” is a boutique-level, German-built bass that exemplifies Warwick’s highest standards of craftsmanship and tone. This 2021 Masterbuilt instrument pairs premium tonewoods with Warwick’s distinctive sandblasted finish, delivering a tactile feel, striking appearance, and the unmistakable Warwick growl.
A 3/8" Black Walnut Burl top over a Black Korina body provides depth, articulation, and strong low-mid presence, while the sandblasted “Fossil” finish enhances resonance and highlights the natural grain. The result is a bass that is equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in a high-end collection.
This example is in Mint / Excellent condition, shows no notable wear, and functions perfectly throughout. At a well-balanced 9.3 lbs, it offers substantial feel without being overly heavy.
